Welcome to the Harrowsmith descendants’ web site.

Around the beginning of the 20th Century grandsons of Jeremiah Harrowsmith left England to settle in the colonies. They went to Australia, to South Africa and, it is believed to Canada.

Their lives in those days of slower and more time consuming communication became disconnected. However each thrived in their new country. Now, 100 years later, we are able to trace how their lives developed, and establish contact between members of their extended families

Their descendants have the convenience of modern communication and choose to ‘visit’ through the World Wide Web; this site offers a forum and galley, and will be developed to suit growing needs. A genealogy has been started and will be included in the site.

For these reasons, it is a private site, and access will be restricted to extended family members only.
